Community Service Opportunities
Rotary is a service organization. We will be supporting several service projects during  this event.
Pennies for Polio

Rotary has been working to eradicate polio for more than 30 years, and we’ve made incredible progress in the fight to rid the world of it forever.

As a founding partner of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, we've helped to reduced polio cases by more than 99.9 percent.

It’s crucial to eliminate polio from the last three countries where it remains endemic and to keep other countries polio-free. If all eradication efforts stopped today, within 10 years, polio could paralyze as many as 200,000 children each year.

How can you help? Bring your loose change, clear out your change jar, and donate to help eradicate polio!

Crayon Initiative

More than a half-million pounds of crayons are discarded every year, turning into a waxy sludge that clogs our landfills and never biodegrades.

The Crayon Initiative collects donated crayons from restaurants, schools and homes across the country, then melts them down and remanufactures them, reducing waste.

How can you help? Bring any crayons you are no longer using around to donate. Help sort crayons by color so that they are ready to recycle.

Red Cross Blood Mobile

The Red Cross Blood Mobile will be onsite throughout the event.

How can you help?  Check back here to sign up to donate blood to help those in need.

Shelter Box

Right now, around 85 million people around the world have been displaced by natural disasters and conflict. ShelterBox is working to change this.

How can you help? Visit the Shelter Box booth, see examples of the shelters provided and learn more about their amazing work!
